Iris Thread: Resetting the Benchmark

Once upon a time there was a standard in rayon and later in polyester that the embroidery business within the United States set as a benchmark for value, quality and performance. Over the course of the last few years and changes happened within the industry, every company has had to compromise their standards and settle for what is available.  Companies have had to deal with poor deliveries, inconsistent shades, and thread breaks. A total saturation of inferior threads from the Far East and other parts of the world that has just made the problem even worse.

Ensign Emblem and Enmart have helped turn the clock back.  As a major user of these threads Ensign understands what superior quality thread can mean to an embroiderer. As a full line distributor, EnMart has worked with Hilos Iris to reset the benchmark for customer satisfaction for rayon and polyester embroidery threads.

The following are some of the major differences between IRIS® Thread and any of the other threads being offered in the U.S. marketplace:

Iris® UltraBrite™ Polyester is a true 40 wt thread made of the finest high tenacity trilobal polyester.  Hilos makes no compromises when it comes to thread construction.  Many of the other companies have some of our advantages but none of them have all of them.  We have excellent coverage and fill because we are a full 40 wt and will actually fill designs digitized for 40wt.  We have extremely high shine due to our manufacturing and construction which is regarded by our customers as better than the others.  We have the best recovery and elongation stability, 299 stock colors and a wide base thread saver delivery king spool that are the best spool for polyester performance.  We ship this spool with an individual wrapper as well as a house keeping clear plastic bag.  Thanks to development efforts, we now have the quickest turnaround time for custom colors and the smallest required minimum in the industry.  For those who may be interested, this thread will not sublimate at 350 degrees and is super color fast.  In addition to great thread construction, you also get the best customer service and tech support possible because EnMart knows how to run thread.  We may even be able to give you pointers about improving your efficiency and bottom line.  Wouldn’t be nice to see all of your colors from one source on one job performing on your machines as was originally intended?  Our pricing is very competitive.

Iris® Smooth’N Silky® Rayon- Iris is one of the few remaining companies that use high tenacity rayon in the production of its product.  All of the above packaging and delivery spool characteristics that are used in the polyester are also used in Iris rayon.  The rayon line is available in both the standard 40 wt. 120’s/2, but also the 35 wt. 150’s/2.  All of the original benchmark expectations set by market diehard users are once again available.  There are also 299 stock colors as well as the same conditions for custom colors as is set up for polyester.  The beautiful luster and sheen that rayon offers is in a thread that runs at the higher speeds than the majority of the rayon products available.  For those that mirror this quality and they are few indeed, there is no one who can challenge EnMart service and the value of this product.  For those looking for cheap rayon, there are many choices.  For those looking for that benchmark product at very competitive pricing Iris and EnMart offers the diehard rayon embroiderer a chance to visit yesteryear.
